Seongbo Jang is currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH). He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from POSTECH, under the supervision of Prof. Hwanjo Yu. During his doctoral studies, he worked as a machine learning researcher at Scatter Lab, where he contributed to the development of Luda Lee, a social companion chatbot, and Zeta, an AI storytelling platform, both of which serve over several million users. His research focuses on building engaging and empathetic conversational agents, with the goal of exploring desirable human-like behaviors to develop more socially intelligent agents.
